LIMCON v3 update (use of lower grade steel and bolt in Singapore)
In the event that Class 1 steel cannot be obtained from manufacturers/suppliers in Singapore, the design strengths of steel and bolt have to be adjusted as per specified in the BCA's BC 1:2008 circular (clauses under section 5.2 and 5.3).
To facilitate using lower grade steel and bolt, LIMCON users can now download the latest patch here, and follow the instructions in this guide.

More than 100 delegates attended this half day technical seminar on prefabrication and precast technologies, jointly hosted by Building Technology Department of HDB, China Academy of Building Research and Advance ConTech (Singapore) Pte.
