While the Singapore SS EN design code is based on the latest Eurocodes (EN) published in year 2004, some of us are more familiar with the older version (ENV) dated back in 1990s (which many reference texts, software and design spreadsheets were based on).

LIMCON v3 update (use of lower grade steel and bolt in Singapore)
In the event that Class 1 steel cannot be obtained from manufacturers/suppliers in Singapore, the design strengths of steel and bolt have to be adjusted as per specified in the BCA's BC 1:2008 circular (clauses under section 5.2 and 5.3).

More than 100 delegates attended this half day technical seminar on prefabrication and precast technologies, jointly hosted by Building Technology Department of HDB, China Academy of Building Research and Advance ConTech (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
